Beautiful catching the movement of the trunk. But for suiting the title, maybe you can crop the lower part for 1/3 so that you can still keep your main 2 grapefruits and still have that nice curve of the branch. (You will get a king of panoramic picture though.) And I don't know if you can saturate the yellow. : ) (I don't know why I can always see the solution for others than for myself.)

This has the appearance of a snap taken hastily out the window of your car as you were on your way home one night. The subject is uninteresting, the tones are dark and depressing, and the drops on your lens are distracting.

Very surprised to see 1's and 2's for this effort. The composition and subject are right on target and deserve much better on their own.

Voters should keep in mind that not everyone can afford Canon EOS 300D's or Nikon D10, D70's, et al! Perhaps the focus is a little soft, but otherwise, very well done! Do not be discouraged.

This image is interesting. The bight light on right enhances this picture for me. All the other lights and raindrops on your lens add to the melancholy mood of this photo. Interesting take on this challenge...8

Oh, wow! Those things really grow on trees? Just kidding. But it is a bit unusual. I think it might be a tad oversharpened. Otherwise, it makes a nice photo and certainly meets the challenge.

I like the subject but your photograph has to many distractions. The rain droplets or light flairs are very distracting. Looks like it was take through a car window on a rainy day. The title is OK but a better suitable title would be "This lane Closed". Wish you the best.

Nice use of the tree trunk - draws me in. well done. Some refinement in PS and you've got a very high scoring entry..more saturation, some USM maybe. Lack just a bit of punch and pop.
