Brokenby DogAngelComment by tootsweet: This doesn't pop for me. Colors are blown and I had to rely on the title to figure out your intent. Environmental Portraits shouldn't be so abstract in presentation (not abstract in the art sense...I guess a better word would be obtuse) that you need a title to tell everyone what is going on, imo. My biggest problem is why would a relatively well-dressed young women be in scrap lumber yard? She doesn't work there, she isn't a run-a-way. If you're trying to juxtapose teen angst against an editorial comment on the "scrap" there are much better ways of doing that. |

Brokenby DogAngelComment by Eyesup: I really like the subjects plament in the shot, the one thing I don't like is her gaze is way off to one side which make you want to look ther too |

Brokenby DogAngelComment by h2: this looks more like a construction site, so probably she has no real connection to this environment. on the other hand I can imagine she is from a poor neighborhood. good pose, composition and color. |

Brokenby DogAngelComment by fldave: Nice photo, but as to her environment - is she homeless, or a contractor? It's not clear to me. |

Brokenby DogAngelComment by choltmeier: Very nice emotion captured by twisted legs and hands in sleeves and eyes looking away. I like the muted colors as well. |
