Creepy, it sort of reminds me of some of the small towns in Germany. They actually told us (american soldiers and spouses) to stay out of them because our lives would be in danger. The reason they gave was simply put "The residents generally don't speak english, there are no tourist attractions, and they don't take 'kindly' to strangers.. good stuff. 6
