Interesting pattern. A picture with potential. I would have played with the DOF. Maybe making the foreground in focus and the backround blurry to diffuse the distracting lower right side.

I like it. I think this is nicely laid out, focus is good, and it's a cute, fun shot. I think the border is rediculous though. lol. The lighting is casting some distracting shadows, maintly from the pencils that are raised up off the background. I think you picked nice colors for the pencils. They go well together and I like that. Vey nice shot. definatley creative and fun for the challenge. ~Heather~

like the shot, hate the border. sorry to be terse. it's just too much. with so many colors in the shot, plain white might have drawn them all together more than putting all the colors in the shot into the border.

IMO the boarder is alittle to much but the shot is still nice (note i am not a boarder hater this 1 just seems to be too much for my tasted).

I think that the blur on the bottom/close objects is a bit too much - it's sort of a barrier for the eye to get back into the rest of the picture. I'd be tempted to cop a bit of it out.

I like this a lot. Actually, it would work in 'Calendar', too. I recognise that you've set the focal point near the middle, but I'd have given a 10 if the front had been sharp, too. 9
