Grretings from the Critique Club. Well sorry for your first challenge you got slammed, dpc voters like things to be clear. This shot is too centrally located for most i suspect, it is somewhat lacking in detail and interest for a close up shot. I try to encourage people to look at their shots and make sure all the technical elements are there: good lighting, 1/3 2/3 compostion, interesting choice of subject (which as in this challenge can be very hard when the topic is to shoot something that is not usually considered interesting), is the shot sharp. Just some general advice hope it helps.

If anything, I think of "grace" and "beauty" when I see these falls. If it was Niagra or something of that scale, then I'd imagine "strength." Still a pleasant photo, but not quite on target to me.
