I think you'd crush the egg this way. Nice shot, good contrast. I'd crop tighter on the left to show less of the shadowed area. Also rotate CCW 7

I like your idea, almost more of a funny photo. The black and white does well with your subject. I don't know about the dark area in the upper left corner, though. It's kind of drawing me away a bit. Overall, nice job!

Wish the photo was straight... the edge of your surface is tilted badly. Shame, as the rest of the picture is good... great lighting and range of tones.
