The brightness and high contrast of this image makes you feel the sun and the heat - very appropriate for the subject. The blue and gold work well together. I like how the grain "invades" the sky with a roit of spikes. Wish it were sharper

If this doesn't ribbon I will be very surprised. Vanishing point = 100%. Colors = unbelievable. Composition = could not be better. Improvement suggested (minor) = that one spot in the bottom black area, but you could easlily crop to tha point and eliminate all below. My prediction = red, behind "Road to Denali."

I like this image a lot. The colors are very vibrant and it meets the challenge well. Only one little, itty, bitty problem... you see that white spec down there in the black foreground? I didn't enter this challenge so I can't recall if advanced editing was allowed & I'm too lazy to go look right this second but assuming you could have, your failure to clean that off is the only thing keeping me from giving this photo a 10. I wouldn't sweat it too much though 'cause I'm giving you a 9. Good job!
