Love the expression on the child's face. This shot would have been really quite powerful without the adult and if it were cropped in just a bit closer. I like the choice of B&W.

My team and I were marveling at the dearth of comments in this challenge so we thought we would at least attempt to correct that a little:

Kinda torn on the voting front. I REALLY do love the silhouette of the lady. It certainly stands out from the other entries. But, I do not like the light in the frame. It adds nothing to the image, aside from a distraction that pulls the eye away from the subject.

Interesting. Of all the photos, none gave me pause but this. Simple, intriguing, poignant. It allows the viewer to create the story, allowing us to connect on whatever level and means we feel most appropriate and meaningful. Well done.
