Mercury Risingby catzilla23Comment by seanc: Sorry about the comment yesterday, bad day. Your image does meet many of the qualifications for still life. It does need cropped, I would take it right up to the statue, which is over exposed and blown out. Horizon lines don't always have to be level but I think it would help in this case. I will re-rate it. |

Glad you explained who, I would have never know :) The statue is well lit but the distance in the shot is too much. The cropping could be tighter, leaving only the tower and the statue. The noise in the image is also very distracting. A 4 |

Mercury Risingby catzilla23Comment by darcy: if this were much much closer on the statue it might have worked as a still life, but as it is right now it doesn't do it. also, there appears to be a fair ammount of digital noise/pixelation happening in the sky. |
