T3by eswikComment by pcody: I don't know what this is, which has nothing to do with anything you might say, but part of the enjoyment of photography for me is seeing something I know photographed well. So, since I don't know what this is, I feel no connection to it and don't find it interesting. If it was closer and made into an abstract I would probably like it though. Sorry. |

Reaching for the Winby eswikComment by Cantique: This is my top pick in this challenge. The headline is good and the picture has great action and expression. I could actually picture this in a newspaper. |

Reaching for the Winby eswikComment by melismatica: I'm not sure about your headline but I don't read sports sections or magazines so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. At any rate, this works as photojournalism well enough your headline isn't a big deal.
This is a really good, clean capture of the decisive moment (particularly if she did win). The fierce expression of concentration, the strain showing in the arms, the motion blur of the ball very effectively portray the moment. There is a nice crisp definition between the subject and the simple, dark background. Good work! |

BlackJackpotby eswikComment by vadvirag: Composition is superb here! Very good idea, simple and great at the same time. :-) Maybe lighting is too much for my personal taste on the bottom of the ace, but alltogether I like this a much! |

BlackJackpotby eswikComment by Olyuzi: I like the concept, but think it could have been carried out better. First, the lighting seems too harsh and there seems to be glare coming off the whites of the cards. Secondly, I would have preferred a green felt background to mimick the kinds of tables that poker is played on. I also would have preferred to see real coin scattered about and in more abundance than the stingy single token in the image. |

BlackJackpotby eswikComment by Natator: Very nicely done. Slight glare on the chip, but that's a very minor point indeed. |
