What a charming child you have photographed here. Oh, yes, and welcome to DPC. You selected a lovely image to send in your first Challenge.

It scored quite well, especially for a first timer, so congratulations on that! The Critique Club is here to try to give constructive suggestions on 'how to make an image better' so I have just one suggestion. That is to crop your picture of this sweet child even closer. Crop out from the top and from the left side, to remove the security comforter and you still have an appealing picture. try it and see what you think.

Other than that, you have a fine image of a fine subject and I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future,
