Wet Slumberby jessieludeComment by JulietNN: HI from the C Club
Powerful POV here. The grain is very dominant in this, I think just a tiny bit less would have given a little impact. Also your cropping could be more dramatic in this shot. Crop out the shower curtain and the soap dish, and BAM you are full force on with your 'body'
I do not think there is anything else in post processing that you can do, as this seems perfect for this shot |

Gazing Grasshopperby jessieludeComment by MelonMusketeer: When shooting anything as small as these items are, it's a lot better if you can use a monopod to hold the camera steady. I guess that to get this, you had to go with what you had in hand. Another trick that I use often is to set the self timer to 2 seconds, which helps a lot with camera shake when I push the shutter button.
Composition could be improved by trimming off the bottom and left third, and ending up with the subjects in a diagonal , corner to corner. There is a lot of dark space, even though it has texture, in the left and lower areas that is not really adding punch to the effect of the shot.
I guess that what I am trying to say is to try to zoom or move in closer to the primary subjects if you can, when you shoot.
Keep shooting and enter often. A side challenge is a great way to find friends here, and get tons of good feedback if you have time to get into one. |
