You really have to be careful about editing on DPC. If you have any doubts at all it is best to contact the SC and ask them whether you are going to far or not. Saves a lot of heartache after the fact.
I was going to enter the recent "personality" challenge which was advanced editing but needed to get rid of a light that was in the way. I asked SC whether it would be considered a "major element" or not and they said it would. As a result I did not enter the challenge. Better to be safe then sorry.
Congrats on a great image. Don't let this discourage you from DPC, just be more careful and ask questions. :)

splash!by dino1899Comment by J-Me: The force of the water, hitting the rock and beach was thunderous...almost thudding in our chests, drowing out the high pitched sreeches of the gulls that circled in the distance.
Beautiful portrayal of the sound of a crashing wave. I can hear and feel it. |

splash!by dino1899Comment by lovethelight: WOW! I almost passed this right up as a typical dramatic sunset at sea, but this is just SO much more than that. Not only is the water composed brilliantly, the colors are subtle and dramatic. The sky has calm blues and purples while the water is clearly being hit by some bright sunlight. The birds are a great touch too. Nicely done. |
